Journey Into Wholeness is about answering the call to mature our mind, body, and spirit. Each of us is an important part of God’s creation. Maturing is a process that faces all of humanity. Everyone has gaps in their maturity. The gaps may have affected our relationships, our ability to handle our business affairs, our finances, or just to persevere in our daily work. Immaturity becomes the obstacles that detours our Journey. Our individual Journey is about finding that balance that enables us to go about our daily lives with confidence and purpose. The wolf pack offers a well organized way of gaining maturity. By analyzing the pack family, we find commitment to the maturing process that enables each member to find personal identity as well as their part of the pack as a whole. A family in order! As a counselor, I began to use the wolf pack to give children a way to mature. I found that “wolfing” provided a way for them to understand and accept how they could find self worth and learn teamwork. As parents began to relate to the wolfing process through the eyes of their children, they were able to understand their own gaps. God knew us before he placed us in our mother’s womb. We are an important part of the whole body of Christ. Each of us is called, each is loved, chosen, and each has our mission that completes the whole. I extend an offer to you to join me and others along life’s way as we continue the Journey Into Wholeness. Kaye Briscoe King
